STORMY is a
not for profit race that is run by volunteers for the enjoyment
of runners. The race, in its 4th year, follows the famous Test of
Metal bike course (with a couple minor variations). The course is
67km long with 4000 feet of climbing rewarded with spectacular views.
The course starts and finishes on tarmac roads, but is mostly on
trails with substantial sections of beautiful single track. Most
of the course is extremely runnable, although "9 mile hill"
(a.k.a. Bonk Hill) can challenge even the toughest athletes!
